AN ACT CONCERNING REMOTE NOTARIZATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to codify the provisions of 1
Executive Order 7k, issued by Governor Ned Lamont on March 23, 2020, 2
to permit the remote notarization of documents by a notary public or a 3
commissioner of the Superior Court provided there is compliance with 4
certain safeguards. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To codify the provisions of Executive Order 7k, issued by Governor Ned
Lamont on March 23, 2020, so as to permit the remote notarization of
documents by a notary public or a commissioner of the Superior Court
provided there is compliance with certain safeguards.
