1919 AN ACT CONCERNING THE QUALIFYING INCOME THRESHOLDS
2020 FOR THE PERSONAL INCOME TAX DEDUCTION FOR PENSION OR
2121 ANNUITY INCOME.
2222 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2323 Assembly convened:

2525 That section 12-701 of the general statutes be amended to establish, 1
2626 for the personal income tax deduction of pension or annuity income 2
2727 under subparagraph (B)(xxi) of subdivision (2) of subsection (a) of said 3
2828 section, additional qualifying income threshold tiers (1) between 4
2929 seventy-five thousand dollars to less than one hundred thousand 5
3030 dollars in adjusted gross income for an unmarried individual, a married 6
3131 individual filing separately or a head of household, and (2) between one 7
3232 hundred thousand dollars to less than one hundred twenty-five 8
3333 thousand dollars in adjusted gross income for married individuals filing 9
3434 jointly. The deduction allowed under each such additional threshold tier 10
3535 shall be a decreasing percentage, as adjusted gross income increases, of 11
3636 the percentage allowed under said subparagraph for the applicable 12
