AN ACT RESTORING THE SALES AND USE TAXES EXEMPTION FOR
PURCHASES OF NEW NATURAL GAS, HYDROGEN OR ELECTRIC
MOTOR VEHICLES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 12-412 of the general statutes be amended to restore the 1
exemption from the sales and use taxes for the sale of and the storage, 2
use or other consumption of a new motor vehicle exclusively powered 3
by natural gas, hydrogen or electricity. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To restore the sales and use taxes exemption for the sale of and the
storage, use or other consumption of a new motor vehicle exclusively
powered by natural gas, hydrogen or electricity.
