CARNEY, 23rd Dist. AN ACT CONCERNING A WAIVER OF APPLICATION FEES FOR PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION FOR STATE RESIDENTS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 10a of the general statutes be amended to require each 1 public institution of higher education to designate days every year on 2 which the application fee for an undergraduate program at such 3 institution shall be waived for state residents. 4 Statement of Purpose: To designate days every year on which state residents may apply for free to undergraduate programs at public institutions of higher education in the state.
