| 25 | 25 | | That sections 38a-499a and 38a-526a of the general statutes be 1 |

| 26 | 26 | | amended to: (1) Expand (A) required health insurance coverage for 2 |

| 27 | 27 | | telehealth services, and (B) the variety of telehealth providers and 3 |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | platforms that are eligible for reimbursement; (2) provide that no (A) 4 |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | telehealth provider who provides a covered benefit to an insured 5 |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | through telehealth and receives a reimbursement for such benefit shall 6 |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | seek any payment from the insured for such benefit except for any 7 |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | coinsurance, copayment, deductible or other out-of-pocket expense due 8 |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | and owing for such benefit under the insured's health insurance policy, 9 |

| 34 | 34 | | and (B) health carrier shall reduce the amount of any reimbursement 10 |

| 35 | 35 | | paid to a telehealth provider for a covered benefit solely because the 11 |

| 36 | 36 | | telehealth provider provided such covered benefit to an insured 12 |
