AN ACT CONCERNING REIMBURSEMENTS BY PHARMACY
BENEFITS MANAGERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to provide that no 1
pharmacy benefits manager shall reimburse a pharmacy for pharmacy 2
services at a rate that is lower than the rate at which the pharmacy 3
benefits manager reimburses an affiliate for the same pharmacy 4
services. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To provide that no pharmacy benefits manager shall reimburse a
pharmacy for pharmacy services at a rate that is lower than the rate at
which the pharmacy benefits manager reimburses an affiliate for the
same pharmacy services.
