AN ACT REQUIRING INSURANCE REIMBURSEMENTS FOR
PERSONAL PROPERTY CONTAINED IN STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require an insurer 1
providing coverage for a stolen motor vehicle to reimburse the insured 2
for the full value of any personal property contained in such stolen 3
motor vehicle. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require an insurer providing coverage for a stolen motor vehicle to
reimburse the insured for the full value of any personal property
contained in such stolen motor vehicle.
