AN ACT CONCERNING COMMUNITY AWARENESS OF
HYPERTROPHIC CARDIOMYOPATHY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of 1
Public Health to increase community awareness of hypertrophic 2
cardiomyopathy and the risk of death from hypertrophic 3
cardiomyopathy through the use of education and technology. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce, through education and technology, the risk of death from the
potentially fatal heart condition, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
