(By Request) AN ACT CONCERNING PATIENT ACCESS TO MEDICAL RECORDS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 20-7c of the general statutes be amended to ensure that 1 a patient is charged the lowest amount allowed under state and federal 2 law for the patient's medical records regardless of whether the patient 3 or the patient's attorney or legal representative requests such record. 4 Statement of Purpose: To ensure that patients have affordable access to their medical records.
