| 25 | 25 | | That chapter 167a of the general statutes be amended to: (1) Add one 1 |

| 26 | 26 | | additional member to the Teachers' Retirement Board, who shall be a 2 |

| 27 | 27 | | retired teacher and an enrollee of a health benefit plan offered by the 3 |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | board; (2) create a health care advisory council composed of eight retired 4 |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | teachers, which shall report their recommendations for health benefit 5 |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | plan options to the board; (3) institute a term limit for members of the 6 |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | board, which shall be not longer than three four-year terms; (4) cap at 7 |

| 32 | 32 | | one hundred thousand dollars per year the amount of professional fees 8 |

| 33 | 33 | | that may be paid out of the health insurance premium account 9 |

| 34 | 34 | | established pursuant to 10-183t of the general statutes; and (5) require 10 |

| 35 | 35 | | the Teachers' Retirement Board to offer a Medicare supplemental 11 |
