AN ACT PROHIBITING THE SALE OF ANIMAL FIGHTING
PARAPHERNALIA.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 53-247 of the general statutes be amended to establish as 1
a class E felony the possession, ownership, sale or manufacturing of 2
animal fighting paraphernalia with the intent to wager upon, promote 3
or facilitate animal fighting. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To discourage the ownership or transferring of animal fighting
paraphernalia.
