2119 AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF EQUITY IN THE
2220 CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY.
2321 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2422 Assembly convened:

26-Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Administrative 1
27-Services shall conduct a study of the construction industry in the state, 2
28-to determine the percentage of construction work in both the public and 3
29-private sectors that is performed by minority-owned businesses and 4
30-women-owned businesses. Not later than June 30, 2022, the 5
31-commissioner shall submit a report, in accordance with the provisions 6
32-of section 11-4a of the general statutes, to the joint standing committee 7
33-of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to 8
34-government administration containing the findings of such study and 9
35-any recommended legislative changes. 10
36-This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
