COMEY, 102nd Dist. AN ACT CONCERNING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR EPINEPHRINE CARTRIDGE INJECTORS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to provide that no 1 individual or group health insurance policy that is delivered, issued for 2 delivery, renewed, amended or continued in this state and provides 3 coverage for epinephrine cartridge injectors shall impose any 4 coinsurance, copayment, deductible or other out-of-pocket expense for 5 such injectors in an amount that exceeds twenty-five dollars. 6 Statement of Purpose: To cap the out-of-pocket cost for an epinephrine cartridge injector that is covered by an individual or group health insurance policy at twenty- five dollars.
