AN ACT CONCERNING THE LICENSURE OF ART THERAPISTS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That chapter 383g of the general statutes be amended to establish a 1 process, limited in duration, by which a registered art therapist may be 2 granted licensure as an art therapist if such registered art therapist (1) 3 earned a graduate degree in art therapy or a related field, and (2) is a 4 licensed professional counselor in the state and to allow temporary 5 permits to practice as an art therapist under supervision to be valid for 6 two years. 7 Statement of Purpose: To establish a process by which registered art therapists may be granted licensure as art therapists in the state and to allow temporary permits to practice as an art therapist under supervision to be valid for two years.
