AN ACT INCREASING THE SAFETY OF CHILDREN WHEN BUYING
ICE CREAM FROM AN ICE CREAM TRUCK.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require ice cream trucks to 1
be equipped with safety equipment, such as crossing control arms, and 2
to prohibit ice cream trucks from selling ice cream on streets with speed 3
limits above a specified maximum. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the safety of children when buying ice cream from an ice
cream truck.
