1420 AN ACT CONCERNING TH E USE OF COVID-19 RELIEF FUNDS FOR
1521 DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, MENTAL HEALTH, SUICIDE PREVENTION
1622 AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICE PROVIDERS.
1723 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
1824 Assembly convened:

20-Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Secretary of the Office of Policy 1
21-and Management shall distribute $10,000,000, from the undisbursed 2
22-portion of funds received by the state pursuant to the Coronavirus Aid, 3
23-Relief, and Economic Security Act, P.L. 116-136, as amended from time 4
24-to time, and the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental 5
25-Appropriations Act, P.L. 116-260, as amended from time to time, as 6
26-grants to private providers of domestic violence, mental health, suicide 7
27-prevention and substance abuse services for individuals experiencing 8
28-such issues as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. As used in this 9
29-section, "COVID-19" means the respiratory disease designated by the 10
30-World Health Organization on February 11, 2020, as coronavirus 2019, 11
31-and any related mutation thereof recognized by the World Health 12
