| 25 | 25 | That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require, during a 1 | |
| 26 | 26 | declaration of a public health or civil preparedness emergency by the 2 | |
| 27 | 27 | Governor, the Commissioner of Education to (1) develop and 3 | |
| 28 | 28 | implement, in conjunction with the Commissioner of Public Health and 4 | |
| 29 | 29 | the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management, state-wide 5 | |
| 30 | 30 | protocols that are designed to prevent the transmission of infectious or 6 | |
| 31 | 31 | communicable diseases in school buildings, and such protocols shall 7 | |
| 32 | 32 | include, but need not be limited to, the cleaning of school buildings and 8 | |
| 33 | 33 | the upgrading or retro-commissioning of heating, ventilation and air 9 | |
