22 | 22 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |
23 | 23 | Assembly convened: | |

25 | 25 | That chapter 173 of the general statutes be amended to require that 1 | |
26 | 26 | any new construction project or renovation project receiving a school 2 | |
27 | 27 | building project grant include the installation of water bottle filling 3 | |
28 | 28 | stations in the school, and that standards be developed for the 4 | |
29 | 29 | placement of water bottle filling stations in schools that includes, but is 5 | |
30 | 30 | not limited to, a requirement that there be at least one water bottle filling 6 | |
31 | 31 | station (1) per one hundred students, (2) on each floor or in each wing 7 | |
32 | 32 | or other section of a school building, (3) in all school food service areas, 8 | |
33 | 33 | and (4) near gymnasiums and outdoor learning and activity areas, 9 | |
34 | 34 | including playgrounds and athletic fields. 10 | |
