AN ACT CONCERNING THE OBSERVANCE OF VETERANS' DAY BY
PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 1-4 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the 1
holding of public school sessions on the eleventh day of November. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To remember and honor military veterans, living and deceased, by
prohibiting school districts from holding school sessions on Veterans'
Day.
