AN ACT DESIGNATING DOGS AS LIVESTOCK FOR PURPOSES OF
ATTACKS FROM BEARS AND COYOTES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to designate dogs as livestock 1
for purposes of attacks from bears or coyotes. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To curb the loss of dogs from bear and coyote attacks.
