AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR APEX COMMUNITY CARE IN DANBURY TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1 issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2 general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3 one million three hundred thousand dollars, the proceeds of which shall 4 be used by the Office of Policy and Management for the purpose of 5 providing a grant-in-aid to APEX Community Care in Danbury in order 6 to purchase real property at 16 Hospital Avenue in Danbury. 7 Statement of Purpose: To provide capital funding for APEX Community Care, to provide space for its services to people living with HIV/AIDS, mental health and substance use disorders and their families and loved ones and to actively promote education and prevention in the community.
