AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE TO REPAIR
MUNICIPAL FIRE DEPARTMENT BUILDINGS IN TOLLAND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
five millions dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the 4
Department of Economic and Community Development for the purpose 5
of providing a grant-in-aid to the town of Tolland to repair crumbling 6
foundations of municipal fire department buildings in the town and 7
conduct repairs to ensure such buildings comply with building code 8
requirements. 9
Statement of Purpose:
To authorize bonds of the state to provide funding for the repair of
municipal fire department buildings in Tolland.
