AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE ON THE REDUCTION OF
STUDENT LOAN DEBT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That a task force be established to study and provide 1
recommendations on the policies and funding required to reduce 2
student loan debt for residents of the state. Not later than January 1, 3
2022, the task force shall submit a report, in accordance with the 4
provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, to the joint standing 5
committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters 6
relating to higher education and employment advancement on its 7
findings and recommendations. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a task force to study and provide recommendations on
policies and funding required to reduce student loan debt for residents
of the state.
