SANCHEZ, 25th Dist. AN ACT ESTABLISHING A STUDENT LOAN REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM FOR GRADUATES WITH A DEGREE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 10a of the general statutes be amended to establish a student 1 loan reimbursement program for any individual who graduates from a 2 public institution of higher education with an associate or bachelor's 3 degree in early childhood education, resides in the state for not less than 4 three years and is employed by a preschool program or a local or 5 regional board of education. 6 Statement of Purpose: To establish a student loan reimbursement program for residents of the state who graduate from a public institution of higher education with an associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education and are employed by a preschool program or a local or regional board of education.
