AN ACT CONCERNING ATTORNEY GENERAL OVERSIGHT OF
STATE GRANTS TO NONPROFIT PROVIDERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that the office of the 1
Attorney General (1) ensures that nonprofit providers do not use state 2
grants for expenses not included in their grant applications, and (2) 3
recovers any grant money not used in accordance with the stated 4
purpose of the grant applications and returns it to the General Fund. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent improper use of state grants and recover grant money
improperly used.
