AN ACT ESTABLISHING A FUND TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL
ASSISTANCE TO HOMEOWNERS TO ADDRESS PROPERTY
DAMAGE CAUSED BY A NATURAL DISASTER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a fund to provide 1
financial assistance to homeowners to address property damage caused 2
by a natural disaster, as declared by the National Weather Service, that 3
is not otherwise covered under an insurance policy. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a fund to assist homeowners who have property damage
from natural disasters.
