AN ACT CONCERNING STATE FUNDING AND LOW -INCOME
HOUSING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 8 of the general statutes be amended to require 1
organizations requesting state funds to build housing units to reserve a 2
minimum of twenty-five per cent of the housing units for low-income 3
residents, and to require the Department of Housing to oversee the 4
application and approval process for such funding. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To increase availability of low-income housing.
