24 | 24 | That the general statutes be amended to provide that: (1) Any person 1 | |
25 | 25 | under eighteen years of age who is charged with a crime shall 2 | |
26 | 26 | automatically be assigned legal counsel irrespective of the household 3 | |
27 | 27 | income of such person; and (2) no law enforcement agency personnel 4 | |
28 | 28 | may meet with a person under eighteen year of age who is charged with 5 | |
29 | 29 | a crime unless the assigned legal counsel is present with such person at 6 | |
