AN ACT CONCERNING REMOTE NOTARIZATION OF DOCUMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to legislatively enact the 1
provisions of Executive Order 7k, issued by Governor Ned Lamont on 2
March 23, 2020, which permit the remote notarization of documents by 3
a notary public or a commissioner of the Superior Court provided there 4
is compliance with certain safeguards. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To legislatively enact the provisions of Executive Order 7k, issued by
Governor Ned Lamont on March 23, 2020, which permit the remote
notarization of documents by a notary public or a commissioner of the
Superior Court provided there is compliance with certain safeguards.
