AN ACT CONCERNING THE FILING OF AN INVENTORY OF A
DECEDENT'S ESTATE WITH THE PROBATE COURT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 802b of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1
a fiduciary's estate inventory shall include a copy of any trusts created 2
by the decedent that pass real or personal property to persons who are 3
not identified as beneficiaries under the decedent's will. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that the inventory filed by a fiduciary with the Probate Court
following a decedent's death includes all property of the decedent,
including any property held in a trust.
