AN ACT CONCERNING STATE EMPLOYEES AND EQUITABLE
HOLIDAYS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish an equitable 1
holiday policy whereby full-time state employees are able to substitute 2
at least two current state holidays for religious observances of their 3
choosing, which shall be used as whole days within the fiscal year. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To offer full-time state employees at least two floating holidays per fiscal
year.
