AN ACT CLASSIFYING DISPATCHERS AS FIRST RESPONDERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to classify dispatchers as first 1
responders. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To accurately match the duties of 9-1-1 dispatchers to the title of First
Responder, so dispatchers receive necessary training and proper
benefits.
