1818 AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL EMPLOYERS, UNEMPLOYMENT
1919 COMPENSATION AND THE APPEALS PROCESS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General

2323 That the general statutes be amended to require that any 1
2424 unemployment compensation benefits that have been paid to an 2
2525 individual and are the subject of an appeal by a municipal employer be 3
2626 reimbursed to the municipal employer if such municipal employer 4
2727 prevails in the appeals process. 5
2828 Statement of Purpose:
2929 To ensure that municipal employers are reimbursed for any
3030 unemployment benefits paid to an individual if, upon appeal, it is
3131 determined that the individual has no claim to such benefits.
