AN ACT CONCERNING THE FAILURE TO FILE FOR A CERTAIN
GRAND LIST EXEMPTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That any person in the city of New Haven otherwise eligible for a 1
certain 2017 grand list exemption, except that such person failed to file 2
the required exemption application within the time period prescribed, 3
be permitted to file such application within a certain time period and 4
pay a late filing fee to be regarded as having filed such application in a 5
timely manner. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To permit any person in the city of New Haven otherwise eligible for a
certain 2017 grand list exemption that failed to file the required
exemption application within the time period prescribed be permitted
to file such application within a certain time period and pay a late filing
fee to be regarded as having filed such application in a timely manner.
