AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN ESSENTIAL CAREGIVER PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish an essential 1
caregiver program that requires the same infection control practices and 2
testing standards for essential caregivers of a resident in a nursing home 3
that are required for nursing home staff. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To improve the quality of care by requiring the same infection control
practices and testing standards for essential caregivers of a resident in
nursing home that are required for nursing home staff.
