AN ACT CONCERNING AN EXPANSION OF THE DEFINITION OF
"DIRECT CARE" AS IT RELATES TO MINIMUM STAFFING
REQUIREMENTS IN NURSING HOMES AND NURSING HOME
REIMBURSEMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of 1
Public Health to review and consider revisions to the definition of 2
"direct care" as it relates to minimum staffing requirements and nursing 3
home reimbursement. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To make the necessary revisions to the definition of "direct care" and
adjust nursing home staffing requirements and reimbursement
accordingly.
