AN ACT UPDATING MINIMUM DIRECT CARE STAFFING
REQUIREMENTS FOR NURSING HOMES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to eliminate the distinction 1
between chronic and convalescent nursing homes and rest homes with 2
nursing supervisions in favor of a single minimum direct staffing 3
requirement for nursing homes. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To update minimum direct care staffing requirements for nursing
homes.
