AN ACT CONCERNING A DIRECT CARE PAYMENT RATIO IN
NURSING HOME AND LONG -TERM CARE SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a minimum 1
percentage of Medicaid nursing home reimbursement to be spent by 2
nursing homes on direct care provided by nursing homes. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To hold nursing homes accountable for the use of public funds by
establishing a minimum percentage of Medicaid nursing home
reimbursement to be spent by nursing homes on direct care provided
by nursing homes.
