AN ACT PREVENTING COMMUNITY GUN VIOLENCE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish an organizational 1
initiative within state government, tasked with implementing evidence-2
based, community-centric programs and strategies, in lieu of or in 3
partnership with existing community organizations, with the goal of 4
reducing street level gun violence in the state's largest urban areas and 5
those areas most effected by gun homicides. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To establish an initiative to prevent community gun violence.
