AN ACT CONCERNING NOTATIONS IN LAW ENFORCEMENT DATABASES REGARDING PEOPLE WHO MAY INADVERTENTLY RESPOND INAPPROPRIATELY TO COMMANDS FROM LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to permit police dispatching 1 systems and the Connecticut On -Line Law Enforcement 2 Communications Teleprocessing System to include an indication that an 3 individual in a household may inadvertently respond inappropriately 4 to commands from law enforcement officers due to physical, emotional 5 or developmental reasons, at the request of a person in the same 6 household. 7 Statement of Purpose: To help prevent misunderstandings in interactions with law enforcement officers that may result in the use of force.
