AN ACT CONCERNING POLICE PROTECTION AT CARNIVALS AND
FAIRS THAT DO NOT SERVE ALCOHOL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 7-284 of the general statutes be amended to exclude 1
carnivals and fairs that do not serve alcohol from the requirements for 2
police protection at a boxing bout, wrestling match, place of public 3
amusement, sport contest or hockey, baseball or basketball game or any 4
other exhibition or contest. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To exclude carnivals and fairs that do not serve alcohol from the
requirements for police protection that apply to certain activities.
