AN ACT CONCERNING FEES CHARGED BY MOTOR VEHICLE
RENTAL COMPANIES FOR ADDITIONAL AUTHORIZED DRIVERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit a motor vehicle 1
rental company from charging a lessee a separate fee for an additional 2
authorized driver. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit a motor vehicle rental company from charging a separate
fee for additional authorized drivers.
