20 | 20 | Assembly convened: | |

22 | 22 | That sections 14-80 and 14-80a of the general statutes be amended to 1 | |
23 | 23 | require the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, after notice and an 2 | |
24 | 24 | opportunity for a hearing, to suspend the registration of any motor 3 | |
25 | 25 | vehicle that is the subject of two or more written warnings or violations 4 | |
26 | 26 | of subsection (b) of section 14-80 of the general statutes or subsection (a) 5 | |
27 | 27 | of section 14-80a of the general statutes within a period of six months. 6 | |
28 | 28 | Statement of Purpose: | |
29 | 29 | To reduce excessive noise from motor vehicles that are the subject of two | |
30 | 30 | or more written warnings or violations within a period of six months by | |
31 | 31 | suspending the registrations of such motorcycles. |
