AN ACT REQUIRING THE INSTALLATION OF CAMERA VIDEO
SYSTEMS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE SCHOOL BUSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (c) of section 14-275 of the general statutes be 1
amended to require each school bus that is model year 2022 or newer to 2
be equipped with camera video systems both inside and outside such 3
bus. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure the safety of students by documenting the internal and
external environment of the school bus and monitoring the operation of
such bus with internal and external camera video systems.
