AN ACT CONCERNING SERVICE ELIGIBILITY IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS BASED ON STUDENT RESIDENCY. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require that a 1 student who is enrolled in a school district for a town other than the 2 town in which such student resides, be entitled to receive any services 3 that would otherwise be available to such student in the school district 4 for the town in which such student resides, if such services are 5 unavailable in the school district in which such student is enrolled. 6 Statement of Purpose: To ensure that all children can access services that they would have access to in their home school district.
