AN ACT CONCERNING CURSIVE WRITING INSTRUCTION FOR
STUDENTS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-16b of the general statutes be amended to require 1
cursive writing instruction for students in elementary school. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that all students receive the educational benefits of learning
to write in cursive.
