AN ACT CREATING A TAX SAFE HARBOR FOR ORGANIZATIONS
THAT ADOPT A WRITTEN CYBERSECURITY PLAN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to create a tax safe harbor for 1
all organizations in the state that adopt a written cybersecurity plan 2
based on a recognized best practice plan, such as the National Institute 3
of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework or the Center 4
for Internet Security Controls. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To create a tax safe harbor for business entities adopting a recognizable
best practice cybersecurity plan.
