AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR BUILDING
FACADE AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS IN NEW HAVEN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
five million dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the 4
Department of Economic and Community Development for the purpose 5
of providing a grant-in-aid to the city of New Haven for renovations of 6
building facades and other site improvements in the Hill and Fair Haven 7
neighborhoods. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding to the city of New Haven for renovations to building
facades and other site improvements in the Hill and Fair Haven
neighborhoods.
