AN ACT CONCERNING DESIGNATION OF POLLING PLACES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to require that, in any 1
municipality where it is proposed that a polling place be moved from 2
its location at the immediately preceding election, the legislative body 3
of such municipality shall conduct a public hearing on such proposal 4
and approve or reject such proposal. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require a public hearing and a vote of the legislative body prior to
any move of polling places from one election to the next.
