AN ACT CONCERNING GROCERY STORES AND THE SALE OF
WINE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 30-20 of the general statutes be amended to: (1) Allow 1
holders of a grocery store beer permit to also sell wine; and (2) expand 2
the definition of "grocery store" to include convenience stores, gas 3
stations and fish markets. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To allow the sale of wine by holders of a grocery store beer permit and
expand the availability of grocery store permits to convenience stores
and gas stations.
